Deneen G. Matthews is a multi-talented entrepreneur who serves as CEO and Senior Creative Director of Deesignz Web & Graphics Studio.
Deesignz was the firstborn of her entrepreneurial ventures and started as a part-time side hustle to her full-time job. This gave place for her passion to effectively design and brand so that small businesses and independent entrepreneurs had realistic and budget-attainable marketing, web, and design options. Out of her courage to step outside the norm, other entrepreneurial endeavors emerged.
Deneen’s background in design began in New York City where she worked for almost a decade in a consulting environment at Mercer, a Fortune 500 company formally known as Mercer HR Consulting. She provided design support for branding and marketing initiatives as well as the collateral that supported those initiatives in her capacity as a marketing and design specialist with a people development group.
Prior to that, Deneen was employed by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where she was a member of the Human Resources Training Team. She developed and designed employee training and HR resource tools and manuals, and helped to facilitate internal employee career path strategies. She also created an online intranet database that managed the MSKCC employee tuition reimbursement program and was involved in day-to-day organizational development and HR training functions.
Deneen is also co-branded as Editor-in-chief, Co-founder, and Publications Expert of DeeClare Publishing, LLC, sister company to Deesignz Web & Graphics Studio. Collectively, the two companies are integrated to provide a full range of consulting, design, marketing, literary and editorial solutions.
Deneen G. Matthews was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, and relocated to the Midwest for more than a decade. At that time, Deesignz was launched as a full-time business and has grown exponentially over the years. Her formal education includes Computer Science studies at Pace University and New Jersey City University, and a completed certificate program in Web Design and Electronic Publishing at Parson’s School of Design / The New School in New York City.
Her earnest desire is that every individual find the courage to discover and identify what is profound and unique within them; to extract, display, and fully exhaust those gifts and live their lives to their fullest potential.
